What are snorters?
A snorter is a tube-shaped device designed for aiding the user to sniff a powder directly into the nasal cavity, for it to be assimilated quicker into the bloodstream. It provides a cleaner way to sniff, considering that users are normally turning dirty notes/bills into sniffing straws, which increases their exposure to bacteria and geems.
When looking for a snorter, a few things have to be taken into consideration:
- The material it is made of: usually, the snorters are either made of metal, alloy or plastic, but you can find glass versions, too. Use a sniffer tube made of a material that doesn’t corrode, which allows you to give it a good clean every once in a while.
- The size of it – it’s best if you can try different options before settling for the best sniffer for you.
- The design; always pick a snorter that is practical over one that is more of a novelty item.
How to use a snorter
Unfortunately, none of our sniffing devices come with a user manual or a step-by step guide on how to use a snorter, so if you’ve never used one until now and you want to move away from the rolled-up notes, we’re here to give you a helping hand.
Let’s focus on explaining how to reach to the point of needing the snorter.
First of all, you’ll need to make sure that the powder you’re planning to inhale is smooth enough and has no clumps (with the use of a blade, make sure the clumps are being turned into soft powder, too; you can also use a grinder for the same purpose). Clumps can cause nosebleeds and unwanted pain, so the smoother the powder, the easier it is to snort it.
Then, you will have to measure the quantity of dust you want to snort. You can use a blade or a card to separate the needed dosage, forming a straight, even line, prepared for inhaling.
Place one end of the snorter above the coke line, with the other end in one of your nostrils. Cover the other nostril by pressing one of your fingers onto it and inhale through your nose, using the sniffing pipe as a straw or, as I like to call it, a “hoover”.
You can find the Charlie’s Rocket Sniffer Tubes here, available in two colours: Silver and Gold.
Note: For the snuff lovers who want to snort a double dosage, use a dual pipe, a tube shaped as the letter Y, with a single end that gets inserted into the nostril and a double end which goes on top of the 2 lines that are meant to be snorted.
The Charlie’s Rocket dual pipes are made of metal and are available in two colors: gold and silver, which can be found here.
What to use for smaller dosages
If you want to make sure you’re snorting a smaller dose of powder, why not use a dabbing spoon instead? Scoop a tiny quantity and, using a similar process as for the sniffing tube, cover one of your nostrils and inhale through the other one, while holding the spoon close to it.
At Charlie’s Rocket, we do not encourage, nor praise the usage of drugs. We want to make sure that the already-existing users are limiting their exposure to bacteria and diseases that can be transmitted by sharing notes or straws.
